Spirometry and Lung Function Assessment

We are delighted to offer spirometry to all our patients who require it.

Spirometry is a common test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other conditions that affect breathing. It is a vital tool in general practice.

Please make an appointment with one of our doctors if you feel you would be a candidate for spirometry and bring your inhalers with you. If they recommend it, they will book a double appointment with one of the practice nurses to perform spirometry.
